Nest Thermostat Issue

I recently purchased the Nest Thermostat with mirrored face and cannot get past the complete install in google home app. Thermostat cannot be detected.

Thanks for posting in the Google Nest Community forum. I'd love to  know more about it. Do you see any messages or code on the actual Nest Thermostat or in the Google Home app? Also, were there any instances that your thermostat shows low power?

Hi Jenelyn_O,

The only thing on the thermostat is "continue setup on Google Home App" in French, English, and Spanish. No instances of low power.

Hey jaysmiley56,

 

Thanks for the update. Could you please uninstall and reinstall your Google Home app and remove the batteries of your Nest Thermostat for at least 3 minutes, to let it cool down? After that, put back the batteries and try to set it up again in the Google Home app.
