Nest Thermostat all models controllable with one app?

In case I have Nest Thermostats of different Generation and model, can I control all of them with the same app on my cell phone?

Yes and no,

The newish Google Nest Thermostat can only be set up and controlled by the Google Home App.

The Nest Learning and E thermostats must be set up using the Nest App, but once set up they can be controlled by the Google Home App
