Nest Thermostat connecting to power

I have a u shaped connector to the board and am not sure how to disconnect it so I can rewire it.  Please see attached picture.

Thank you for taking the time in letting us know about your inquiry. I'd be happy to take a look into this for you.

Based on the pictures, It appears that it's the wiring configuration from your system's control panel. Usually, there's no need to re-wire it unless you're asked to or if your system isn't compatible with the Nest. To be sure, would you mind sending us a picture of your thermostat wiring setup?
