Hello BobbyF,

I'm sorry to hear about the issues you're experiencing with your Nest Thermostat since changing your internet provider. It can be frustrating when smart devices don't work as expected. Here are a few suggestions that might help you troubleshoot the problem:

  1. Ensure that your new internet provider's network settings match the requirements for the Nest Thermostat. Double-check the Wi-Fi name (SSID) and password to make sure they are entered correctly.
  2. Try restarting your Nest Thermostat. You can do this by going to the thermostat settings and selecting "Restart."
  3. On the Nest Thermostat, navigate to the settings menu and select "Network." Choose the option to reconnect to Wi-Fi and enter your new network details.
  4. Make sure that your Nest app is updated to the latest version. Sometimes, compatibility issues arise with older app versions.
  5. If the problem persists, you might consider updating your thermostat network configuration. An Account Connection reset would help. Go to Settings > Reset > Account Connection > Reset to confirm. Also, remove the thermostat in the Nest app.
  6. Reconnect your thermostat manually to your new Wi-Fi network, then proceed by adding it to the Nest app.

I hope you get your NestTthermostat back online soon!

Regards,
Mark
