Nest Thermostat first w5 error, now stuck in restart loop

When it first lost wifi not recognizing any wifi in the area I discovered it wasn't getting enough power. Solved the problem so now it gets a constants charge. Problem still shows w5 error and now it's stuck in a restart loop. I tried everything suggested even put my old thermostat in like suggested. Old thermast by the way works as it should. I am guessing i just got the bad luck of a defective unit.
