Nest Thermostat need to add back into the app after accidentally removing thermostat

Hello, 

 

I was having offline issues with this particular one before I accidentally deleted the thermostat from my app.. It would not connect to WiFi. So now I cannot get it to join a network or I cannot figure out how to add the thermostat back into my app. When I try to troubleshoot it keeps saying that the thermostat is connected to an account. However when I look at the app the thermostat is not there. Can any please advise?

I understand the frustration of accidentally removing your Nest Thermostat from the app, especially when you were already having connection issues. Let's get that thermostat back online and working smoothly.

The steps to set up your thermostat will depend on which model you have. However, to ensure we're on the same page, please perform a factory reset on your thermostat before proceeding with the setup.

Once you've completed the factory reset, we can proceed and try to set up the device.
