Nest Thermostat occasionally loses connection to network

Thermostat randomly goes offline, but my Network is up and functioning... Any ideas why this might be happening ? Is there a way to remotely, thru the app on my iPhone, reconnect to the network ...

Having same issue...app says offline.   System is working fine and can be adjusted manually....thought maybe the wifi chips in the thermostat went bad but when I click on history in the app, I can still all the manually adjustments that have been made so it clearly is still.connected

I went to Nest Portal (https://home.nest.com/home/) on my iMac and able to access Nest through that Gateway, so it would appear the issue is the App on my iPhone..I'm going to delete and re-install the App on my iPhone and see if that results in resolving the issue.. Thanks

Re-install did not remediate the issue... I decided to disconnect my VPN, and voila.... connection was successful... I have seen this on other products where when connected via VPN, you might encounter random connectivity issues. Interesting that I have Nest installed at 2 residences and connectivity reliability was an issue at my primary residence in MA, but I had no issues with my connectivity in SC.
