Nest Thermostat overriding schedule

We have a couple of Nest Thermostats which only link to our Google Home app and not the Nest app we are used to. Despite having set schedules they constantly are getting overridden: I presume there is some kind of Eco or Auto-Schedule but we cannot find it in the Google Home app to disable as we could easily on the Nest App. We read it may require us to log in to NestRenew to opt out but we do not live in the United States so cannot seem to do that either. We currently have no control over the scheduling of our Nests! Any suggestions welcome. Thanks

Hi  @BD39B!

Thank you for posting in the community!

Thank you for reaching out to the community. I'm sorry for the inconvenience that this behavior with your Nest Thermostat may cause to you. Let me help you with your Nest Thermostat not following the schedules properly.

To provide you with the correct troubleshooting, I want to confirm some information:

  1. What model of Nest thermostat do you have?
  2. The issue started since the first installation?
  3. Have you tried some troubleshooting, like a factory reset?

Currently we have 2 models of thermostats that work on the Google Home App: The Nest Thermostat 2020 and The Nest Thermostat 4th Gen; only The Nest Thermostat 4th Gen has Auto Schedule.

In the meantime you can take a look at the following articles:  Learn about Eco Temperatures, Auto Eco and how to change settings, Change the temperature to update the thermostat schedule.

I’ll be waiting for your reply and please feel free to ask any question you may have.

Regards,

Derick.
