Nest - constantly going offline?

Fitted Nest thermostat yesterday to replace Hive and so far just awful…..constantly off line and on in my 5th or 6th network reset?

any ideas as apparently my ‘ping’ is too high??

Any help appreciated as so far I’ll have to replace with something else that actually works?

In order to further assist you, I need some extra information. Here are some questions for you:

  • What type of Nest thermostat do you have?
  • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
  • How far is the Nest thermostat from the WiFi router?
  • Is there any other device having issues with the WiFi connection?
  • Does the thermostat display show any error codes or messages?
  • Is the thermostat connected to the 2.4 GHz or the 5 GHz network?
  • Are there devices or appliances (such as baby monitors, microwaves, cordless phones, etc.) near the thermostat?
