Nest Thermostat repeatedly restarting.

My thermostat repeatedly restarts. It will briefly show the temperature and then immediately goes into a restart cycle. This is happening continuously. I tried removing it and charging the unit. It will not connect to Wi-Fi and now is continuously cycling through a restart. Any suggestions?

I started having this exact same issue this morning. We have two nest thermostats in our house. Our living room one has been offline for weeks and we have tried everything to reconnect it to the app with no luck. Today it has been stuck in restarting mode for the past few hours. Very frustrating.
