Ok the nest is installed. When configuring, it said that a wire was not detected so I followed the instructions and fully connected the wire. rather than retesting, it bounced me out and I had to setup again. Now Nest home cannot detect the thermostat during setup. I have disconnected all other Bluetooth devices and i can See in my Bluetooth menu that the phone is connected to the thermostat but I keep getting the can’t connect message. I have removed the batteries and reinstalled them but same result. I cannot factory reset from the menu because the thermostat screen won’t go past the “Continue Setup in Google Home App” screen. As far as I can tell there is no hard reset button on this thermostat. It’s not the learning thermostat, just the one with the Touch Bar on the side.
