I have my nest thermostat for over a year now. Yesterday it lost WiFi connection and I tried to reconnect it but without luck. I end up resetting the thermostat to manufacture settings and since then it displays only this: “Continue setup in the Google home app”. I tried to take the batteries out and more than one minute and setting up a new home on my Google Home app. Nothing works. Please help. I need my heat back.

After many tries, I was able finally set it up. I think what helped is to bring the thermostat closer to the router and when it indicates that it doesn’t have power I plugged it back in.
