Nest Thermostat will not connect to WiFi

Nest thermostat no longer connected to WiFi.
I've tried all the troubleshooting steps.  Restarted router, restarted nest thermostat, disabled 5Ghz and even tried to connect it to my phone (hot spot).   I do have wire C for power and its fine.
No network identified, I even tried to manually enter Network info and no luck.

I have read that this is known issue with Nest thermostats.
Any other troubleshooting steps that I can try?  Otherwise I will need to see about getting a replacement from Google for a fault thermostat.

Thanks!

@MiniManiac2017 Sounds like you've already tried a lot of sensible steps. The full list of steps is here:

Nest thermostat is offline - Google Nest Help

If the issue persists after trying all those steps, especially if it shows no networks to connect to at all there may be a hardware defect so I'd encourage you to contact support.

  1. Go to Contact Us - Google Nest Help
  2. Select an appropriate product or category, type a brief description of the issue, then click Next.
  3. Click Other, then click Next step.
  4. In the Resources section, click Next step.
  5. Choose to get a phone call, call or chat with the team, depending on availability in your country.
