We are trying to wire the nest, but we are getting error messages, i.e., C wire isnt getting power. On our previous thermostate, the white wire was connected to W1/O/B. On the new thermostat, should we connect the white wire to W or O/B? We have the blue wire connected to C. Help!

For me my White Wire goes to W1 and my Blue wire goes to G. If you only have 4 wires then you probably don't have a C wire. If this is the case then I highly recommend you run one as I just experienced issues with mine after almost a year of being installed. The C wire solved it.

Thank you for your prompt response Frozen Goat! Here's a photo. I'll move white to W and leave OB empty.

Your base is different from mine. The best thing you can do is go and look at the circuit board on your furnace and verify which wire goes to which terminal on it and then match it up on your Nest. I would be most interested to see if your green and blue wires should be swapped. I'm thinking the blue wire is the fan which means it should go to G and the green wire is your common and should go to C. I'm only speculating, I highly recommend that you verify it at the furnace first.
