Nest Thermostat

Heating is coming on at any time, although it is in off mode. we are now in month of JULY and heating is not required. the only way to stop that is to switch off the unit at the mains.

Thanks for reaching out. Checking your Nest Thermostat Energy History might help you see what your thermostat was doing previously. You can visit this support article on how to check Energy History in the thermostat or in the app.

Also, try to remove the W or W1 wire on your thermostat terminal and check if your heating system will still run in an off mode. Ensure to turn off your power breaker before touching the wires.
