I bought a Nest 3rd Generation Thermostat 9 months ago and it is installed in a different property to where I live. It worked fine until about 6 weeks ago when it stopped connecting to the Nest app on my phone and I could no longer see settings or usage reports. When I recently visited the property I found the thermostat was still controlling the heating but was no longer connected to the internet. I tried to reconnect it but it was constantly searching and could not find the network. I reset it but it still could not find any network, even a full factory reset did not work and now it will not restart. After pressing the dial for 10 seconds it appears to restart but always just shows the small house symbol and flashes green with an occasion orange flash. Despite originally working OK it has now gone faulty, presumably originally with wifi failure and now seems to be corrupted as now will not start.

I will not be at the property at which it is being installed until next week, I will then be able to let you know if it is working OK.
Many thanks,
