Nest thermostats

I have cleared and reset the heating schedule to maintain a constant 72 degrees F. But the temperature drops to 65 degrees during the night. Then it takes all day (!) to climb up to 72. I have cleared the eco features—including the “away” status. Why won’t the thermostat maintain a constant temperature?

Do you have learning on? Check the schedule in the Nest app

I'm guessing you are on 6.2-22 which is clearly the issue. I've had my nests installed and working for nearly a decade...until this update.

Pretty much everybody by now with a Nest thermostat 3rd Gen, including me, I have 3 of them, is on  6.2-22. Not everybody is experiencing issues.

I am having the same issue. No schedule showing in app, home/away assist off, auto-schedule off, etc. Still the thermostat will not maintain the temperature I set.  It continually drops the temperature to 68-70 degrees.  How do I fix this?
