Nest Wifi + Nest Thermo 3rd gen: interruption in two wifi nodes caused thermo go offline connect mor

Google Nest Wifi: AC 2200(I guess, one generation behind the current one)

Google self learning 3rd gen thermostat:

  • Been connected via 'Home' app and working perfectly since a year.
  • Suddenly two days ago, two nodes on the wifi router went offline and power disconnected, and the thermostat also went offline.
  • Restarted the thermostat a couple of times, which restored the power and I can control heat, cold with thermostat at the device only.
  • Thermostat is still disconnected from the 'Home' app on the phone.
  • Tried searching for the wifi network on thermostat, but could not find any.
  • Entered the wifi network name, including the password, but could not connect, no matter, how many times I tried.
  • Wifi is running on DHCP auto, 802.11ac, WPA2-Personal, 5GH band, 149 channel
  • Additional couple of restart of thermostat had no positive effect
  • Distance between the two is approx 20 ft, which was no problem originally.
  • Is it necessary to make the wifi router to run the 2.4 GHz also to be able to connect to thermostat, if it is any reason for the problem ?
  • ALL STARTED WITH THE OVERNIGHT GOING OFFLINE OF TWO NODES ON THE WIFI ROUTER. MAY BE A  COINCIDENCE ?

Sorry for the delayed response, @pnutalapati. We'd appreciate you've tried finding a fix.

To clarify, are you receiving any message codes? Have you recently changed the settings on your WiFi router? Also, you might want to look at this link related to your concern.
