Nest and Reme Halo LED UV Light E104

I just had a Reme Halo LED UV light installed by an HVAC company. My Nest has worked perfectly without issue for years. But right install I got an "Equipment detected" prompt on my Nest. I just selected continue and the HVAC has run fine. As the instructions suggest, the UV light is to be wired to power on only when the fan is running. Last night I got a prompt on the app "Error" and E104: Problem with the G wire. If I hit continue the AC starts working again but it has not happened three times in the last 12 hours and did not do this for the four days it was installed and working fine. There seems to possibly be an overcurrent issue and I can not find information on how the wiring should be done to accommodate this.

Hi 3000GT,

Thanks for reaching out to us, and I'm sorry to hear about the situation. I'd like to take a look at this for you.

E104 error means that an overcurrent is happening in the G wire. A few questions: what is the make and model of your HVAC equipment? Are the power breakers on and are you receiving power to your home? Are all the wires firmly seated into the terminals? Also, please help us with a photo of your Nest Thermostat base where the wires are connected.

I'll look forward to your response.

Best,

Zoe
