@Manol007

The Google Nest app is supposed to get weather info from the internet based on the home address you've entered in the app. I don't know what it uses as its source; some posts say it's the Weather Channel.

Hi Archie no we still have the same problem after resetting many times and putting correct address all over again I am just giving up. It doesn't work for me for some reason and I can't figure out why...app constantly showing 0 degrees no matter the outside weather.

Hi there,

Chiming in — I'm sorry for the late reply. Could you please try creating a new home structure for your thermostat? It will help us to isolate the issue further.

You can follow the steps here

  1. Create a new home structure for your Nest Thermostat.
    1. Open the Nest app then at the top left, tap Menu.
    2. Tap add or the plus sign then continue.
    3. Give your home a name then follow the prompt.
  2. After creating a new home structure, remove your Nest Thermostat from the previous home.
  3. Once removed, add your thermostat to your new home structure then monitor it.

Please let me know how it goes.

Thanks @Jake and @MplsCustomer, for your help.

Best,

Jenelyn
