Hi
I currently have an oil fired boiler. I am thinking about putting in a Nest Learning Thermostat. I think I will probably install an air source heat pump at some point in the future. Will my Nest be able to work with the heat pump in the future? What if I end up keeping the oil boiler (rather than replacing it) so it can augment the heat pump when needed?
Thanks for any input
David

Hey digger,
Thanks for reaching out and sorry for the delayed response.
Yes, you may still use your Nest thermostat if you will be changing to a heat pump system. Just make sure that your heat pump is compatible by checking our compatibility checker here: https://bit.ly/3qZ6OQ1
