These thermostats have a known defect that causes them to fail to connect to wifi. Ours is less than 2 months old and just died. When reaching out to Google they told me they send me a new one only if I set up a Google pay account and they charged my card to hold the money while they waited for me to send back defective unit. No thank you. I’ll just return it.
