Nest current temperature stuck at same value whether it's cold or hot in the room?

Not sure if anyone has a solution for this.

I installed my Nest Learning thermostat today, and have an odd problem.  No matter how hot or cold it is in the room, my Nest is telling me it's 23c.  I let the temperature drop to about 19c and it was noticeably colder in the room, but it still said 23c.  So I turn up the heat to 24c and trigger the furnace to turn on ... but then the furnace just keeps running with the temperature saying it was still 23c, despite it being greenhouse hot in the room ... probably around 25/26c.

The Nest will turn off the furnace again if I turn it below the 'stuck 23c', but this is just weird.  Anyone else have this issue or have a recommendation?

Ty.

Answer edit:

For no apparent reason, my Nest temperature readings are now functioning and the thermostat is reading the room correctly.  Not sure why it was stuck, but  uninstalling and reinstalling it appears to have fixed the issue.

I hope your problem resolves Ana90 and cheers.

We are having a similar problem. Nest says we have a temperature of 79 F but other external sensors are marking 68 F so there is a huge difference in temperature. It is feeling colder and colder by the hour and we have been using this system for 4 months now… not sure what is going on but it is not indicating an error in the system.

I ended up calling Nest and we did a reset and disconnected the wifi. That got the glitch out as well.  Glad we got this resolved @Lyphe416 !
