Nest display won't turn on

My case number is 5-2430000039171.

When I picked up the thermostat after 2 hours of recharging, the display told me to reconnect it to the wall mount.  I did that, but the display is still not working.  I used the app to remove it from my account and twice tried to add it back again, but now every time I get as far as the requirement to put in a 7 digit entry key, I can't do that because the display is not working.   I also tried the scanning method for the QR code but my thermostat has no QR code, it just has the Nest logo in the center of the reverse side.

I have been waiting for a phone call for more than half an hour and the page says someone will call soon.  It's 1:45 AM and I don't know how much longer to wait.

My HVAC technician discovered that the lower door panel on my furnace was slightly loose and that is the reason why the thermostat did not acquire an electrical signal.  The nest thermostat was not at fault.  Apparently, this would have affected any brand of thermostat.  Fastening 2 screws too 10 seconds and fixed the problem immediately
