"Google Nest Learning Thermostat - Programmable Smart Thermostat for Home - 3rd Generation Nest Thermostat - Works with Alexa - White"
I have a schedule set up but it won't follow it. It goes into "eco mode" even though I don't want it to.
Home/Away Assist is Off
Auto-Schedule is Off
Early-On is Off
Eco is off when I turn it off but, on its own, will revert to being active.
What can i possibly do to get this thing to follow my schedule & stop doing its own thing?

I was able to online-chat directly with someone from google. She suggested that I do a factory reset. I just finished doing that, being careful not to let it set up the cursed auto-schedule or eco mode. We'll see if it follows the schedule that I re-set up. I'll post again in a few days with an update.

I think there are problems in general with using schedules of any kind. I have created processes with a time delay, but for some time now the times have been completely ignored and everything has always been carried out immediately. It worked for years, but now it doesn't. I'm really angry.

Seasonal savings might be on...

...and if it is, then what?

It may be running on eco to save money on energy usage. I know seasonal savings, schedules in general and presence sensing can do this. It's quite frustrating, I know we are considering switching back to our old thermostat.

Indeed, it's been a few days now, and, as far as I can tell, the thermostat is now following the schedule. I still have "auto-schedule" & "eco mode" turned off. They don't add a lot of value to me. I can control the thermostat remotely via the internet, so that's all about I really need.
