Nest doesn't like my Bluetti

I installed a switched receptacle and a short length of cord with plug in the power line to the gas furnace in order to simply change to a different power source in case of a power failure. My alternate power source is a Bluetti AC200 MAX. The Bluetti has a 2200 watt pure sine wave inverter. In a power failure I would simply unplug the cord from the receptacle and plug in to an extension cord from the inverter.

When plugged into line power as normal everything works fine including the nest. When the nest calls for heat the furnace starts up the burners and the fan. After switching over to the inverter everything looks normal. The nest is happy but when nest calls for heat the furnace does nothing. Haven't seen any errors. Switch back to line power and everything works again. I will swap out the nest tomorrow with an older simple tstat for comparison. Anybody seen anything like this?

Forgot to mention. I can command the fan on from the app and it works fine. It just doesn't fire the burners to start normal operation.

Update. Installed old non-programmable tstat and furnace works fine while powered by the inverter so it's just a Nest problem. Need somebody in tech support.

Ok, solved my own problem. Apparently the Nest doesn't like a floating ground so I had to use a neutral-ground bonding plug in one of the outlets of the Bluetti AC200 MAX and the Nest is happy as a clam. Works fine now.
