Hi Edge,

Thanks for posting, and I’m sorry for the delayed response.

A quick question: is the email signed in your Home app the same email you used in your Nest app? If not, make sure you sign in the same email address.

Keep us posted.

Best,

Mel

Hi, turns out I have the Nest Thermostat, not the “e” version.  I had tried to link some sensors but they appear not to be compatible.  Seems like the app could have told me that….and why have 2 apps to juggle thermostats and sensors?

Hi Edge,

Thanks for clarifying that.

You can set up the Nest Nest Temperature Sensor using the Nest app and you can view and have limited control using the Home app. You can check this link for more information about compatibility and features available for your Nest Temperature Sensor: Learn about the Nest Temperature Sensor

Cheers,

Mel
