Nest gen 3 won’t connect to nest app

Hello please help my nest won’t connect to app? It’s on the internet but my app doesn’t connect to it

Do you have multiple devices on your Nest App? What error did you see when it failed to connect from your app?

Hi there,

 

Thanks for posting in the Google Nest Community forum. Doing an Account Connection reset will help you to refresh your Nest Thermostat connectivity. I suggest doing it first before you add your thermostat to the app. 

 

You can follow the steps here: 

 

  1. Go to your thermostat Quick View menu.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Look for Reset.
  4. Choose Account Connection then continue.
  5. After reset, go back to settings then connect your thermostat back to the Network.
  6. Go to the Nest app then add your thermostat.
