I read all the previous posts about the NEST setting. I turn of radiant, set the safe temperature. Outside is 4C and inside the house is 19 to 20 at night and it is set during our sleep to 16C to avoid it going on. Yet, In the middle of the night it turns itself on and set itself to 22C leading to overheating all our bedrooms and waking all of us up from the heat in the rooms.
Is there a way to stop this from happening by a proper software update as I can see multiple ongoing post about the same issue

Hey elogueil,
Oh no! I'm sorry for the delay and trouble. Let's see what's going on — what type of Nest thermostat do you have? When did the issue start? What other strange symptoms have you experienced since the problem started? Is this a new installation? What kind of HVAC system do you have? (Heat pump, conventional system, etc.) Also, what country are you located in?
Looking forward to your response.
Thanks,
Archie

This has happened to me over last week or so, maybe since "seasonal savings" enabled. I've disabled this and true radiant, not sure if it will work. Anybody solved it?

Hi all,
I'm sorry to hear that you're also having the same issues with your thermostats randomly activating heat. I'd be happy to take a look into this for you.
Going over these steps here might help:
Please let me know if that helps, or if the issue still persists.
Thanks for assisting, Archie and Mel.

Actually I mistakenly said it was turning on. In actuality during the night my thermostat goes into eco mode and turns too low. We wake up freezing.

Hi mchen,
Thank you for clarifying that the unexpectedly activated mode was the Eco mode. Let's sort this out.
To confirm, what specific type of Nest Thermostat do you have? Also, could you provide a rundown of all the steps you've tried?
I'll look forward to your repsonse.
Best,
Mark
