Nest heat link dead

The Nest heat link (installed in 2019) has died with error code H71. The indicator light on the white heat link does not flash at all. I checked the wires and followed all the instructions like resetting and so on. No reaction at all. Is it possible to send a replacement for the heat link?

Thanks for reaching out here @Joe19830227 . I am sorry to hear you are facing difficulties with your thermostat and I would be happy to try and assist.

If you haven't already, check the breakers and switches at the location, to make sure nothing has tripped. Also check the boiler as it can sometimes have a separate switch on it. Confirm it has power, it should have a display or LED that turns on.

If it all looks good try and power cycle the Heat Link, if you're comfortable in doing so. Turn the power to the Heat Link off for a few minutes and then turn it back on. See if it has any reaction after, when you press the button on it.

Hi there, I tried everything and actually an electrician and a Baxi technician have dropped by and they all agree that the heat link is dead. It needs to be replaced.

Please respond to the following set of questions:

Have you recently had service or maintenance on your electrical, plumbing, or heating system?

How many heating zones do you have?
Were there any power outages lately?

Also, would it be okay if I send you an email on the address associated with your Community account?
