Make sure you're logged in to the right email account associated with your thermostat. If so, check out this guide to look for other home structures where your thermostats might be connected. @Dullhook, It appears that your Nest thermostat is not holding a charge and your issue is different on this thread. To avoid confusion with what would be the troubleshooting steps, we'd suggest creating a new post with as many details as possible so we can check it for you.

The Nest seems to have calmed down since instillation. The app doesn't seem to be forgetting the thermostat as much. I think it may be to do with my dad's internet connection, which is shocking, a terrible 3MB download and 1MB upload. He is now switching off some devices and seeing which other providers have better fibre deals, as oppose to the old wiring British Telecom provides in his area.
Thanks for posting and for keeping us in the loop on what you've done, @CS1869. I'm glad that your dad is looking for ways to improve his internet speed, and this is to improve the connection and the Nest app's performance as well.
