I have an existing 6 wire stat that works my ac and heat. I replaced it with a nest learning stat but it doesn’t work. Either I get heat only function or fan never ac. Existing stat has the following:
W2 white wire
G green wire
W orange wire
C blue wire
Y yellow wire
R red wire
i hooked these wires to the following on the nest base
W2 white wire
G green wire
W1 orange wire
C blue wire
Y1 yellow wire
Rh red wire
i get no ac only heat.
in a phone conversation with nest tech they told me to swap white wire to W2 terminal and orange wire to ob terminal. Unfortunately this didn’t work and I lost my phone connection and was unable to reach them again.
