Nest learning thermostat w5 error

My Nest Thermostat has the reported "w5 error" and cannot connect to WiFi. It does not even detect the WiFi. Have tried all suggestions (restart and reset both the router and Nest Thermostat) and still won’t connect to WiFi. None of my other nest thermostats have issues connecting. Please help.

I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue reconnecting your thermostat to your Wi-Fi network, and I appreciate all the steps you've taken. Let's sort this out.

 

Could you please give this step a whirl? Tap and hold your thermostat screen for 10 seconds until it shuts down to refresh, then wait a few seconds for it to reboot.

 

Let me know if the issue still persists.
