Nest learning thermostat

Installed the nest learning thermostat.  Connects to internet all set.  The fan is running but no heat.  I don’t see any errors.  Did say low battery and I charged with usb cable.  We only have heat no AC.   Removed and went back to old thermostat and heat is working.  Very frustrated.

How did you wire it to the base? Did you take pics before you began and after installation?

Did you connect a C wire to the C on the Nest, and also C at the furnace?

I have this same problem. The fan is blowing but there is not heat. You can hear the unit try to kick on but then it just turns off. Fan continues to blow. I do not have a C wire. What color should it be?

We got it to work by hooking up a common wire.

Hello there,

I wanted to stop by and see how I could help.

Thanks for assisting here, @Houptee.

@Walker6828 and @vaughnvibe5, we'd love to know about this. Could you share with us a photo of your previous and current thermostat wiring? Also, please gather the power readouts from the Technical Info settings, and I'll look forward to your response.

Regards,

Mark

We got it working by adding the common wire.
