Nest link not functioning

Hi, I am in the process of having a replacement boiler fitted and the connection from the link to the boiler isnt functioning for hot water - it operates fine for the heating aspect. The installer is happy that all of the wiring is correct and that the link is receiving the "on" signal but is not passing this through to the boiler. He wondered if there is a way to control this connection remotely from Google or if its a hardware fault with the link itself. Interestingly when we moved into the house last October we were contacted by Google who arranged to replace the second link which is used on a separate circuit due to a batch related fault - during replacement I mentioned to the installer that both links were installed at the same time so wouldnt it be prudent to replace both but he had no instructions to do that and assumed that they were from different production batches.

Any help would be appreciated.

thanks Keith

Hi there, thanks for reaching out! In situations like this we perform a click test. That being said, please go near your Heat Link and activate the boost for hot water from the app and let me know if you hear a click. You should hear a click when you boost the hot water and another click when you stop boosting it. Just to make sure that the relay is working properly, please try that 5 or 6 times and let me know if you hear a click at every command. Also could you please tell me if you have a separate valve for the heating and hot water, or you have just one handling both?
