Nest lost WiFi conction after workig for 18 months

Nest has lost internet connection. I made no changes, it just stopped working. Tried to contact google support but after about 40 minuets in the queue they dropped the call. I have tried factory reset, restating modem, typed in the WiFi connection details 4 times.  Looks like my only option is to change to another system and ditch google. An expensive lesson learned.

Thanks for reaching out to us, and I'm sorry to hear that your thermostat s. I want to check if you are still in need of any help. If so, to check more on your Nest Thermostat's connectivity, connect it to a mobile hotspot, and then let us know if it will connect or not.
