Our AC was working fine. We had the power shut off by a storm and then our AC stopped working altogether. When we tried to restart the thermostat, it said “no power” so we put new batteries in. Now it says the wires aren’t detected. Is this a problem with the nest thermostat itself? Or does this have to do with something else not being able to properly provide power to the thermostat? It’s like 100 degrees in our home.
