Nest not showing correct indoor temperature

Hi seen a number of similar complaints but cant see the solutions. Had my nest under a year, tried a restart, updated software, etc never had the issue before. The thermostat is showing an indoor temp probably 8-10 degrees higher than what it is. Any help appreciated ps im not an expert !

Ps its not in a drafty or sunlight position and has only started to play up this week

@Gwilsoncfc , so since the nest thermostat uses multiple thermistors to get an accurate temperature reading what are you using to compare it with?
