Nest not switching to eco when away

The Nest thermostat doesnt switch to eco when it is in away mode even though it is set up to that. Why? How does one fix it.

Thanks for reaching out and we're sorry for the delay.

A few things to check for us to further isolate the issue. Was it working before? Did you change any account details on your app? How many mobile devices are associated with your Nest Thermostat? Did you previously manually change it to home or away status?
