Nest not working and no response to warranty query.

My nest has stopped working and no amount of resetting will fix it, it shows a red flashing light, or the nest icon, sometimes states it is restarting. As it is under warranty I submitted a query for how to get a replacement but after several weeks have had no response.

Hello there! Thanks so much for bringing this in our attention. We're really sorry for the delay, this might have happened because of our work volume, I'll try my best do this right for you. Can you please tell us if there are any LED lights on your Heat Link? If yes, what's the color of it?

The heat link is showing a very slow flashing blue. The display is showing a fast blinking red but is otherwise unresponsive.

Thanks for letting me know. The red flashing light on your thermostat display means that the battery run out. The pulsing blue light on your Heat Link means that the devices are disconnected and it's now in paring mode. The battery might have run out because of the disconnection or the battery run out before they got disconnected. Can you please tell me if the thermostat is mounted on a wall or on a stand?

It is mounted to the wall. I have removed it and connected it separately but this did not help.

When charged outside the mount, the device comes to life but will ask to be put back on the mount, it then restarts and the problems begin again. Have also checked the wall mount and the cable will charge other devices. It may be that the mount does not transmit this charge to the device. That is the only thing that I can think of. Unfortunately the mounts are not cheap so it is expensive if I am wrong,

Understood. Can you please check if the Heat Link (white square box) does have any LED lights on it?
