Nest sensor reset for new nest account.

Hey community! I have a nest thermostat sensor that was associated to another nest account. I would like to add it to my current account, but even after reset, when trying to connect it says “this device is connected to another account”. How could I unlink the sensor to have it available to the new account? Thank you for your insight in advance.

Thank you for reaching out to the community. I'm truly sorry your Nest Sensor is not connecting to the app. Thank you so much for the troubleshooting steps you’ve taken so far. I’m happy to assist you and find a solution. 

 

To better assist you,  here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

 

  1. Remove the battery from the sensor for 5 minutes, and then put it back.
  2. Pair the sensor back to the account.
