Hi, @shane5829!

Thanks for reaching out to the community. I'm sorry to hear about the inconvenience with the heating mode that isn't blowing hot air from the vents. I understand that sometimes the wiring can be tricky. I'm happy to help you with the configuration!

I appreciate the information you've shared about your old wiring. To determine the best way to connect each wire, please provide the following:

  • A picture of your old wiring configuration. (This will help me visualize the jumpers.)
  • If you're comfortable, a picture of your control board. (It's usually located near the furnace.)
  • A picture of the current wiring configuration in your Nest Learning Thermostat (4th gen).

Additionally, please answer these questions:

  • Is the thermostat displaying any error codes?
  • Is there a connector labeled "C" on your thermostat?
  • When did you install the thermostat?
  • Do you have a conventional or heat pump system?
    • Conventional System: Typically consists of two pieces of equipment (furnace and AC).
    • Heat Pump: Handles both heating and cooling with a single unit.

This information will help me provide more accurate guidance.

Thank you for your cooperation. I look forward to your response.

Best regards,

Ana
