Nest stuck on home icon

Hi

I changed phones and noticed the nest was no longer connecting, tried a factory reset and now its stuck on the home icon with an arrow and I have tried resetting it and plugging it into a laptop and everything I can see in the help forums and nothing works

• Could you share a photo of the thermostat stuck on the home icon?

In the meantime, I'd suggest the following:

• Check that the wires are fully inserted into the terminal and the connector buttons are securely pushed down. This ensures proper wire connections. Important: Before touching any wires, turn off the power to your HVAC system at the breaker box.
• Ensure the display is properly connected to the base, and verify that the wires aren't blocking the thermostat display when you reattach it.
