Nest temperature sensor off by 30 degrees Fahrenheit

My Nest Temperature sensor seems to be stuck at 32 degrees while the connected Thermostat reads the correct temperature of 64 indoors.   

I tried removing (including removing the battery for at least 30 minutes) and resetting the temperature sensor several time to no avail.   Any suggestions?

Mine is doing the exact same thing. Reading 42 but it’s 74 inside. The humidity reading is at 100% too. I tried a reset, checked batteries and checked the wiring too. All fine. Frustrating. It’s only a few months old too.
