Hi I am having the same problem it says its associated with another account. How do I reset the sensor? Removing the battery for 5 minutes didn’t work

Hi- did you ever manage to get the sensor reset? I got locked out of my nest account because I changed phone numbers, and had to do a complete factory reset of my thermostat and make a new account. Now, my sensor won't connect because it's linked to my old account which I can no longer access. Rep told me to take the battery out for one hour which would reset it. I had the battery out for almost 10 hours before trying again, and guess what? It's still tied to my old account. Google has been ZERO help during this whole situation.

Have same issue with sensor being connected to old account after has to reset the thermostat... anyone know how to reset a temperature sensor?

I ended up throwing the sensors in garbage and ordering new sensors

That's what they want you to do. Google has screwed nest up bad and offer no service help.
