Nest temperatures seem very high

My Nest thermostat prompted me to put it into Learning mode for a week. Since then, despite having the scheduled temperature set to no more than 21.5 degrees it has been running at 25 to 27 degrees whenever heating which is quite uncomfortable. I’ve taken it out of Learning mode but it still isn’t running according to schedule. Any advice would be most welcome.

For troubleshooting, first make sure that all "smart" features are off, such as Home/Away Assist and Early On.  That way, the Nest should simply run the schedule without trying to do "smart" things.

How is your schedule set up?  Do you have a set point (orange ball) of 21.5 at some point every day, and at least one set point at a lower temperature?  When your system runs at 25 or 27, does the Nest's face show that it believes it's supposed to be doing that, or does the system keep running for a long time even though the Nest's face shows that it intends to heat to only 21.5?

Thanks. I’ve turned off Home/Away Assist. Let’s see if that works.
