Nest themostat

I am using the nest learning themostat v3.

Using the nest app with the wifi connection.

Now i have sold my house and the thermostat is staying for the next owner.

I will leave the house on 6th of january 2023.

My internetprovider subscription will move to my new home on 27th of december 2022.

So there will be a period that there is no wifi connection for the nest thermostat.

How do i disable de wifi in a neat way, so i still can use the thermostat for warming-up?

The best way is to do a factory reset, and that will be ready for the new home owner. they can then use their login, and wifi details, and also remember to sign out of your Nest app account.

You can use the Nest as a normal maual thermostat without an account attached, and any wifi connected. When the new owners come along, they edit their wifi, and account details.

Thanks for your reply.

This means the reset with the 'all settings' option. The thermostat works wireless with the heat link. Will this be gone doing a reset in this way?
