I see that Heat LInk has a temperature sensor.  Wath the purpose of this sensor? Could I use this sensor for start/stop heating?

Hello @Deca and thanks for reaching out.

Yes, indeed, the Thermostat E has a temperature sensor but it's there only as a reference. The only way of starting/stopping the heating will be possible just from the display itself. Hopefully this answer helped you.

Hello @AndaD , putting a sensor in a smart thermostat only for reference don't looks too smart!!!
Could we hope some enhancement in the future?
If not so, do you have some plan to make temperature sensor available outside US?

Thanks for the answer.

@Deca, I am sorry for the confusion. What I meant to say is that the temperature sensor is only as a reference on the Heat Link, but the display itself uses the temperature sensor to detect the temperature.

As for the US temperature sensor, we don't have any information so far about being implemented in Europe in the near future. For more details and news, please check Google Store page or the official channels.
