Nest thermostat app log in issues

Hello I was recently logged out of my nest app out of nowhere. And can’t seem to log back in. I have the password saved so I knows correct but it keeps telling me either my email or pw is incorrect. When I try to do a pw reset I don’t receive the email.

To better assist you, please provide the following information:

 

  • Have you already migrated your account to Google?
  • Is your email address associated with an educational institution or workplace?
  • Are you using an Android or iOS device?
  • What is the current version of the Nest app?
  • Who is your internet service provider?

 

To troubleshoot, please try the following steps:
 

  • Sign in with Google: Select "Sign in with Google" and enter your email and password.
  • Ensure your device's date, time, and location settings are correct and that the Nest or Google Home app has permission to access your location.
  • Verify that both the Nest app and your device's software are up to date.
  • Force close the Nest app and reopen it.
  • Uninstall and reinstall: If the problem persists, uninstall the Nest app, restart your device, and then reinstall the app.
  • Try a different device: Attempt to log in using a different device.

We called and it’s been fixed. Thanks
