Nest thermostat blowing cold air.

The thermostat is sending the signal to the air handler calling for heat but not the zone valve controller, so we are getting cold air blowing out.  I switched the zones around so I know it is not the panel for the zone controller.  Can it be the thermostat? Or is it the air handler control panel?

I’ve have seen quite a few topics like yours. No heat just cold air even though it thinks it’s blowing warm.  One guy swears it’s the firmware update some time in October. Was yours all of a sudden or are you a new install?

All of a sudden.  Everything was working fine then just cold air.  I just can’t figure out how to Groberg shoot it. Just no signal telling the burner to call for heat.

We are having the same problem.  Had AC guy out twice.  He installed common wire for us and it worked...but only for about 24 hours.  We are without heat once again.  I wish Google Nest peeps would chime in...seems we are not the only ones with this problem.  Ours started around Thanksgiving time.

I think my problem might have started then too.  Possibly a software up date or something?  It is ridiculous that no one from nest has not responded to this.  I am going to go out and buy a cheap thermostat and swap it out to make  it is the problem.  Post back if you make any progress. I will do the same.
